Add Approval History to Email Notification

    One of our medical center presidents asked if he could see who has approved a requisition before him in the email notification.  He's at the top level (level 5) so he would like to see who approved at levels 1-4.  I've been able to add the history to the notification email by adding this...

     

     

     


     

    Which looks like this

    APPROVER ACTIONS
    Level 1 approved by M123450
    Level 2 approved by A95687
    Level 3 approved by O159757
    Level 4 approved by J76213

    But the problem is that our user id format is [First character of birth month] + [Employee number] so it doesn't really tell who that person is.  How do I pull in the first and last name of the approvers?

    Assuming the IDs exist in LSF, use the Resource Node to retrieve First and Last Name. We retrieve a variety of LSF information for multiple processes and reports.

    If the approval information was processed by IPA and not purged, then the history is in the various Process Flow tables / files.

    User Name should be in the ipa user table. We're pulling ours to make comments like "Approved by Kat Vila on 12/5/2017 14:37:59" - it has my name not "kvila" We are not deliberately bringing it in as a variable as far as I can see.
